CLICK HERE TO VIEW POST IN FULL SCREEN MODE – I couldn’t have asked for nicer weather on this beautiful wedding day. Keela and Shad had planned this wedding with meticulous detail, by putting together an incredible team of vendors and professionals. I could almost feel the impending build-up to the wedding when I met with them for my “venue walk-through” about a month before the wedding. On that day, all the vendors showed up (great event and logistics planning on Michele’s part from Honey Fete Events – My shameful plug: if you’re in the need for a methodical, rigorous event planner, you’ve got to contact Michelle!) and fined tuned all the details and collectively came up with great options for the bride and groom. I can’t tell you how much I emphasize the important for the venue walk through to my clients. Without it, you roll the dice. With it, you increase your probability of smooth execution and transition on your wedding day. As I tell all my clients, “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail” – okay, that’s not my quote, but check this out if you’re still not convinced: DON’T FAIL YOUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY Annapolis Wedding Photographer
The Venue
Crown Rose Estate. This mansion and barn house setting finds a perfect balance of classic, vintage, rustic, and country, all in the outdoors setting. And however beautiful and perfect this place is on its own, Keela and Shad kicked it up a few notches by adding an outdoors tent, hookah bar, a live band, leather couches, and wonderful details and decorations that got everyone to dance. What else would you expect from a lawyer (Keela) and a financial trader (Shad): of course, attention to detail and quality!
So on this early Fall day, Keela and Shad tied the knot in an outdoor ceremony and “jumped the broom” in African-American tradition. Music, great food and drink, a hookah bar, and a sorority song and dance made for an exceptional night for these two love birds.
Come join me in viewing some of their images from this magical night!
