The Nuptials

This was not just the marriage of Cara and Andrew at the famed Belvedere Hotel in downtown Baltimore. This was the union of two families, the festive celebration of friends, and the marriage of science and art captured by Trans4mation Photography – Premier Annapolis Wedding Photographers. How, you may ask? When I first got to meet and got to know Cara and Andrew, I realized that the sweet innocence and gentle spirit should not be confused for their intelligence and methodical approach to life. Right from the get, they were articulate and specific about the type of engagement photos they wished to have (I like that!). Some of my clients are generally okay with just about any location. Cara and Andrew sought something different: Great Frog Winery (click here to check out the blog from their engagement photos). Of course we captured great backdrops and such, but I also got to know them, and know their preferences and the way they liked to express themselves. So it was at the winery that I found about that Andrew works of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and Cara works as a Physician’s Assistant. Science. Art. A great marriage of many things!

Now mix in a little bit of class and grandeure and you have a wedding made for Kings and Queens. Gold themed and dramatic gold-gilded architecture, soaring ceilings and crystal chandeliers. Historic. Rich with texture, fine wine and elegant hors d’oeuvres. The wood-carvings of the popular Owl Bar. Black tie. Fine dining. And a dash of friends from college and family who love to dance…All the markings of a great celebration!
