Mountain Branch Golf Club | Jaime and Dan’s Wedding | Annapolis Wedding Photographer

Unlike other weddings in 2020 which were unfortunately rescheduled, this wedding stayed the course and went off mostly as planned. Except that yesterday’s weather was quite unpredictable due to the remnant effect of Hurricane Laura. And despite the torrential rains that quickly came, they went away just as fast, leaving the balance of wedding day events in virtually perfect weather. Whowuddathunk it!?!

Jaime and Dan are another one of those sweet, down-to-earth, other-centered, gracious, hospitable, and generous couples that you can’t but enjoy! I met them over a year ago. Jaime’s vision for her wedding was pragmatic… she wanted something nice, but not over-the-top, and she desperately wanted her guests to enjoy the day. I can’t tell you how many times Jaime would call to run ideas or questions by me and I never felt like it was a chore. She is a delightful woman, extremely beautiful on the inside and out. Dan is your proverbial man’s man but with a nice-guy charming personality. You know that guy in high school that everyone was friends with? That’s Dan!

And how many wedding photographers can say that they spent an entire sunny Saturday afternoon on a yacht with their clients? Well, I can! Last month, after some delay caused by the 2020 pandemic, Jaime, Dan, and myself, along with their hosts Mike and Helen, took a cruise in the Chesapeake Bay to do Jaime and Dan’s engagement photo session. Although it was a lot of fun, I used the time to get to know both of them a little bit more, and once again, realized how amazing both of them are.

So, it was on this crazy weather August wedding day that Jaime and Dan got married at the beautiful Mountain Branch Gold Club in Joppa, Maryland. Thank you Jaime and Dan for asking me to be your photographer on your most special day. It was an honor to serve you, your friends and families! Most importantly, thank you for making my job easy yesterday. I look forward to a continued friendship!
