If you had to reduce who Kerri and Michael are to each other, to their loved ones, their community, and their country, these would be some of the words I would use. Right from the very beginning when I first met Kerri and Michael to talk over their wedding photography needs, I knew immediately we would click and that I would WANT to do their wedding. You see, Kerri is an educator near the Annapolis region, investing her time in future generations. And Michael is an Air Force fighter jet pilot who has sacrificed many years serving our country. Pulling multiple G’s to protect you and me.

And so it was that on this picture perfect panoramic day, Kerri and Michael would tie the knot at the famed and ornate St. John’s the Evangelist Catholic Church in downtown Frederick. A full mass with communion as officiated by the Reverend Jim Proffitt was sacred but filled with light-hearted humor. The reception was held at the “rustic chic” vineyard and winery known as Big Cork Vineyards (Meagan, the events assistant did an amazing job coordinating everything!) . This property boast many acres of Maryland grown white and red grapes that create superlative flavors and aromas that satisfy the most bouquet-demanding palette. Nestled in Western Maryland, rolling hills and rows of vine pain the backdrop to this picturesque wedding venue. A modern wine bar, heavy hors d’oeuvre, and fantabulicious cupcakes by Storehouse Cakery, were followed by all-night dancing to the the live music of a D.C.-based 7-piece band called Bachelor Boys Band.
