My fine art approach turns these moments into warm, timeless memories, and I avoid trendy filters that may look appealing now but rarely stand the test of time, for images you’ll cherish forever always.

Our History

Trans4mation Photography began in Annapolis, sparked by a hand me down film camera that revealed how a single frame could hold a full story. The joy of documenting meaningful moments turned curiosity into a craft and eventually a career that has taken me to weddings across the country. Now based in Tampa, I travel throughout the mid Atlantic, Northeast, and beyond, continuing to capture memories for couples each year.

My vision is for every couple to feel supported, seen, and genuinely cared for. Weddings bring together the people who matter most, and my goal is to be a calm, trusted presence within those moments. If my work stays with you long after the day is over, then I’ve done my job well.

About Joey

I’m Joey, a wedding and portrait photographer, videographer, and filmmaker, and the founder of Trans4mation Photography. What began with a hand me down film camera became a lifelong passion for documenting people with intention.

Using professional grade gear, medium format film, and advanced AI tools, I create images that honor each story with care and meaning.

Outside of weddings, I share my life with my wife Jennifer, my best friend and biggest supporter. We love cooking together, walking along the beach and enjoying the simple moments that tend to become the most memorable. We also value serving our community and supporting anyone who needs encouragement.

Joey, Desirae, and Latisha were so fun and easy to work with! Joey did an amazing job of preparing everything and making sure my husband and I stayed on top of our "wedding photo to-dos". Joey is very professional while still maintaining a fun atmosphere for everyone he is working with! His second photographer and videographer were unbelievably helpful from helping with boutonnière to fixing bustles. Joey and his team helped keep us on schedule and were a pleasure to work with the whole day!
