The moment I met with Melissa and her mom Stephanie to talk about wedding photography, I realized I wanted to be part of one of Melissa and Ted’s most important days of their lives. Sweet. Transparent. The real deal. Any doubts that Melissa and her family are good peeps were quickly erased by Stephanie’s invitation for me and my wife to join their family to a concert. I mean days after they asked me to be Melissa’s wedding photographer I get an invitation as though I was family.
Although I wasn’t able to join them for the concert, it validated my suspicion that this couple and their families had that “je ne sais quoi” – that special something, those qualities I yearn to find in all my couples: Fun. Educated. Beautiful. Personable. Warm. Intimate. Elegant. Sophisticated but can still be down to earth kind of couple.
I can’t wait to join them in 2021 for their sure to be breathtaking wedding!
On this late Spring 2020, after a few months of quarantine, I joined Melissa and Ted at Centennial Park in Ellicott City, Maryland. You could even hear that proverbial sigh of relief that Spring is here and life is getting back to normal. After exploiting the better parts of the park in their formal outfits, we then went back to Melissa’s backyard and captured a few more “fun” photos. So join me and Trans4mation Photography on a tour of Melissa and Ted’s engagement photos below!
